I teach multiple weekly scheduled all-levels yoga and functional movement classes, myofascial release & self-massage, and occasional guided meditations and workshops. I also offer private individual and small group classes.
ONLINE YOGA FOR 50+
Mondays @ 12 noon ET
A gentle yoga class tailored for older adults who prefer a slower-paced practice. I modify the poses to accommodate the needs of different bodies. This class is sponsored by Around Town DC and is offered free of charge. All levels welcome.
YOGA TRANSITION TO EVENING
Thursdays @ 5:30 pm ET
In this all-levels class, we will begin with gentle movement and breathwork, then use balls or a foam roller to release tense muscles, and end with relaxing restorative yoga to leave your stress behind. This class is great for high stress days and will set you up for an evening recharge too. Props needed for this class include a tennis ball, or a foam roller, a yoga block or thick book, a blanket or thick towel, and a bolster or sofa cushion.
Yoga on Your Terms
Get in touch to schedule virtual private yoga classes around your schedule and level of practice. From beginners to lifelong yogis who want to spend time working through an injury or specific goal, Bara will tailor the practice to you. Sessions are also available for small groups.
