YOGA FOR FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT

Saturdays @ 9:30 am ET

This all-levels yoga class is all about building and maintaining stability and ease in your body. We’ll explore functional movements like reaching, lunging and squatting as well as postures from traditional yoga flow, such as warrior poses and sun salutations. We will end class with a brief meditation to complete the connection between mind and body.

YOGA FOR LONGEVITY WORKSHOP

Sunday February 28, 3 - 5 pm ET

As we age, the connective tissues that holds our body together, called fascia, can become sticky and dehydrated, causing stiffness and pain.


This workshop will focus on simple techniques you can use at home to rehydrate your tissues and create ease in your body. We will utilize your hands, small therapy (or tennis) balls, foam rollers and/or yoga blocks. Once you learn how to do it, you will be empowered to give yourself your own massage. 


Video archive will be available to registered students.

ONLINE MORNING YOGA (45 MIN)

Wednesdays @ 8:15 am ET

Start your day with this uplifting practice that will balance and focus your energy for a productive day ahead. 45 minutes.

ONLINE SLOW FLOW YOGA FOR STRESS RELIEF

MONDAYS @ 6 pm ET

All-levels slow flow yoga and meditation via Zoom. A gentle flow that links poses and breath work for a practice that will ground you in the present. 60 minutes.

ONLINE YOGA FOR 50+

MONDAYS @ 12 NOON ET

A gentle yoga class tailored for older adults who prefer a slower-paced practice. I modify the poses to accommodate the needs of different bodies. This class is sponsored by Around Town DC and is offered free of charge. All levels welcome.

SLOW FLOW AND MEDITATION AT PAST TENSE STUDIO

Sundays @ 8 pm ET

Restorative poses recharge energy and heal the effects of stress. This 60-minute class includes a half-hour of movement, and half-hour of restorative poses and will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. Hosted by Past Tense Studio.

VIRTUAL PRIVATE CLIENTS

Yoga on Your Terms

Get in touch to schedule virtual private yoga classes around your schedule and level of practice. From beginners to lifelong yogis who want to spend time working through an injury or specific goal, Bara will tailor the practice to you. Sessions are also available for small groups.
