I teach multiple weekly scheduled all-levels yoga and functional movement classes, myofascial release & self-massage, and occasional guided meditations and workshops. I also offer private individual and small group classes.
ONLINE YOGA FOR 50+
Mondays @ 12 noon ET
A gentle yoga class tailored for older adults who prefer a slower-paced practice. I modify the poses to accommodate the needs of different bodies. This class is sponsored by Around Town DC and is offered free of charge. All levels welcome.
SLOW FLOW AND MEDITATION AT PAST TENSE STUDIO
Wednesdays @ 7 pm ET
Restorative poses recharge energy and heal the effects of stress. This 60-minute class includes a half-hour of movement, and half-hour of restorative poses and will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. Hosted by Past Tense Studio.
YOGA FOR FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT
Saturdays @ 9:30 am ET
This all-levels yoga class is all about building and maintaining stability and ease in your body through functional movements like reaching, lunging and squatting, some "traditional yoga" warrior poses and sun salutations, ending with a brief meditation to complete the connection between mind and body.
