Hi, I'm Bara. I began practicing yoga 25 years ago as part of my fitness routine and then fell in love with the ways the practice helps me care for my spirit too.

I offer a welcoming, supportive practice for all levels to connect with their breath, body, and mind. I enjoy teaching sequences that help yogis build strength and self-confidence.

My mission is to empower students to find their own path to health and well-being.

I am a 500-hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher. I received my 200-hour Teacher Training at Tranquil Space in Washington DC and my 500-hour certification at Past Tense with Alicia Moyer.

Beyond the mat, I am a health journalist based in Washington DC, and I enjoy sailing, hiking and spending time with my family and my dog.
