As we start the new year, I want to begin with a note of appreciation.
Thank you for all the emails and thoughts you shared with me in 2022. I learned so much from your comments and questions last year: from how to better explain what it means to ‘connect with your core’ to inspiring me to find new ways to teach balance poses. So please keep sending me emails with your thoughts!
In the coming year, I plan to share more online videos, meditations, workshops, and the science-based tips I gather through my work as a health journalist. As with so many things in science, research evolves our understanding of how to be healthy, and I’ll continue to share what I learn.
Meanwhile, here is my group class teaching schedule for the new year.
In-person: you can find my gentle yoga classes in person at two locations: the Cleveland Park library (Fridays from 11 AM to 12 PM) and at DC’s Jewish Community Center (Tuesdays from 9 AM to 10 AM).
Online: Mondays (gentle yoga noon to 1 PM), Tuesdays and Thursdays (yoga break from 12 to 12:30 PM) and Wednesday mornings (morning flow from 8:15 to 9 AM). In these faster-pace classes, we practice sun salutations. However, I do offer modifications and instruction, if you are new to yoga or sun salutations aren’t your thing.
And if none of these times work for you, you can sign up for a private in-person or online class with me.
Have questions about my classes? Email me.
I hope yoga will remain a part of how you care for yourself in 2023! May the coming year bring you health, strength and balance!
